The Gaming Industry considers IAQ
The Global Gaming Expo (G2E), organized by the American Gaming Association,
kicks off on May 9 in Las Vegas. Hot topics this year include indoor air quality, with participants including major casino representatives like the VP of public affairs for MGM Mirage, and politicians from across the country. Casino operators from areas affected by Hurricane Katrina are looking to rebuild facilities of an even higher quality than before. Biloxi, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana were highly ranked gaming centers before the storms. With cigarette smoke a major indoor air quality issue, the latest successful advances in casino design incorporate air filtration technology and improved ventilation.
